Mike is our owner and was born and raised in Meriden. After playing football, basketball and baseball at Maloney High School he attended Pace University where he obtained a scholarship to play D2 baseball. Mike is primarily a catcher and during his time at Pace he needed to be a versatile component of his team. To help his team, Mike split his time between the outfield, first base and behind the dish. After graduation, Michael played for the Cleburne Railroaders of the American Association and the following season signed with Florence Freedom of the Frontier League. At the start of his second professional career summer Mike sustained a season ending injury. Following this injury, Mike is rehabbing and training for his future career in professional ball. Michael has suffered injuries and adversity through his career which helped him attain the knowledge he wants to share with young players everywhere.
